Korea's progress in strengthening measures to tackle money laundering and terrorist financing

Overall, Korea has made progress in addressing technical compliance deficiencies identified in its 2020 Mutual Evaluation Report.
In line with the FATF Procedures for mutual evaluations, the country has reported back to the FATF on the action it has taken since their mutual evaluation.
Consequently, to reflect Korea's progress, the FATF has re-rated the country on one Recommendation:
Today, Korea is compliant on 13 Recommendations and largely compliant on 20. The country has 7 Recommendations rated partially compliant.
Korea will next report back on remaining deficiencies in its 5th round mutual evaluation.

전반적으로 한국은 2020년 상호 평가 보고서에서 확인된 기술적 준수 결함을 해결하는 데 진전을 이루었습니다.
FATF의 상호 평가 절차에 따라 한국은 상호 평가 이후 취한 조치에 대해 FATF에 보고했습니다.
결과적으로 FATF는 한국의 진전을 반영하여 한 가지 권장 사항에 대해 국가를 재평가했습니다.
권장 사항 8은 부분적으로 준수에서 대체로 준수로 재평가되었습니다.
현재 한국은 13개 권장 사항을 준수하고 20개 권장 사항을 대체로 준수하고 있습니다. 한국은 부분적으로 준수로 평가된 권장 사항이 7개 있습니다.
한국은 다음으로 5차 상호 평가에서 나머지 결함에 대해 보고할 것입니다.
